Ledger Reconciliation is the process of comparing two sets of accounting records (e.g., your Ledger for Vendor X vs Vendor X's Statement for your company) to ensure that all transactions match and to identify any missing entries, double entries, or amount discrepancies.
Tolerance allows you to specify a rounding threshold (e.g., ₹1 or ₹5). If an entry in Column A is ₹10,000 and Column B has ₹9,999.50, the tool recognizes them as a match despite the 50 paise rounding off difference.
When 'Ignore Signs' is selected, amounts are compared purely by magnitude regardless of positive/negative signs. When 'Consider Signs' is selected, positive numbers (Debits) match strictly against negative numbers (Credits).
